GST Registration Amendment

GST registration amendment is a process for updating changes in the details submitted during initial GST registration, governed by Section 28 of the CGST Act and Rule 19 of CGST Rules.
Types of amendments:
Core fields: Legal name of the business, address of the principal place or additional place of business, partners/directors, etc.
Non-core fields: Email, phone, bank details, etc., which get auto-approved.
